Mackenzie Foy is on board to star in Disney’s latest retelling of “The Nutcracker”, reports Variety.
Based on E.T.A. Hoffmann’s 1816 story “The Nutcracker and the Mouse King”, the live-action film is titled “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms” and will be directed by Lasse Hallström from Ashleigh Powell’s script.
Mark Gordon is producing with Lindy Goldstein executive producing.
