Jake Gyllenhaal and Jessica Chastain will star in “The Division”, a movie adaptation of Ubisoft’s best-selling video game franchise – and the film will be available on streaming service Netflix!
David Leith is set to direct the film.
The news was announced by Ubisoft as a part of their E3 press conference, and later confirmed on Netflix’s Twitter (below):

“The Division” takes place in the near future and sees virus is spread on Black Friday, which decimates New York City. A group of civilians who are trained to operate in such catastrophes is called upon in an attempt to save those left in the city. The game currently has more than 20 million players worldwide.
