David Dastmalchian (“Dune”, “The Suicide Squad”) has joined the cast of “Boston Stranger” over at 20th Century Studios.

The actor joins Keira Knightley, Carrie Coon, Alessandro Nivola and Chris Cooper in the what’s said to be a “pivotal, undisclosed role”.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, filming is slated to begin next month in Boston.

Writer-director Matt Ruskin’s script is based on the infamous murders of the title character, slayings that rocked Boston from 1962-1964. “Pirates of the Caribbean” alum Knightley will play the reporter who broke the story.
