Dwayne Johnson is done with Fast & Furious movies

And, by the sounds of it, his former co-star.

He might do a “Hobbs & Shaw” sequel, if his busy schedule ever allows it, but don’t count on seeing Dwayne Johnson reprise his Luke Hobbs role for any more “Fast & Furious” movies.

Responding to co-star Vin Diesel’s recent statement that, the only reason Johnson was able to pull off a good turn in the “Fast” films was because of Diesel’s inclination to go all “tough love” on him, the “Jungle Cruise” actor told THR :

“I laughed and I laughed hard. I think everyone had a laugh at that. And I’ll leave it at that. And that I’ve wished them well. I wish them well on ‘Fast 9.’ And I wish them the best of luck on ‘Fast 10’ and ‘Fast 11’ and the rest of the ‘Fast & Furious’ movies they do that will be without me.”

Johnson responded to Diesel’s comments during a joint interview with his “Jungle Cruise” co-star Emily Blunt, who added : “Just thank God [Diesel] was there. Thank God. He carried you through that.”

“Jungle Cruise” opens July 30.
