Eastwood & his monkey get the remake treatment!

A remake of 1978 Clint Eastwood comedy “Every Which Way But Loose” is in the works with James Fargo, who directed the original film, on board to produce.

According to Deadline, Anthony G. Cohen has been tapped to helm the film which will likely go into production in late spring.

“Every Which Way but Loose” follows the San Fernando Valley adventures of trucker turned prize-fighter Philo Beddoe and his pet orangutan Clyde. It may not have been first on your list of must-do remakes, but at the rate Hollywood is going, it was bound to happen some time!
