Emile Hirsch in hurricane thriller from Rambo producers

Emile Hirsch is joining Mel Gibson and Kate Bosworth in the hurricane-set thriller “Force of Nature”.

Hailing from Emmett/Furla/Oasis, producers of “Rambo” and “Escape Plan”, the Michael Polish-directed film tells of a cop (Hirsch, next in “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) who must protect the remaining residents of a building in the midst of a hurricane evacuation while violent criminals attempt to pull off a mysterious heist within the structure. Gibson plays a stubborn retired detective who refuses to evacuate and fights back when the thieves show up at his doorstep.

The pic is currently filling the remaining roles before the shoot begins in late July in Puerto Rico.
