Ewan McGregor-starring ‘Kenobi’ series set for Disney+!?

‘Come here little one, don’t be afraid..’

The oft-muttered “Obi-Wan Kenobi” project popped it’s viewfinder from the ice of Hoth again today.

Floated for a couple of years now, a new series or film franchise fixing on the lost years – that time between “Revenge of the Sith” and “A New Hope” – of fuzzy-faced Jedi, ‘Old Ben’.

We Got This Covered have an update on the project today, suggesting it’s headed – like a couple of other “Wars”-related projects – to Disney+, the streaming service that will also play host to Jon Favreau’s “Mandalorian” series.

Ewan McGregor, who portrayed Kenobi n George Lucas’s controversial “Star Wars” prequel series, will reprise the role in the Kenobi series.

Hopefully Disney or Lucasfilm, or both, will comment on the project at Comic Con in July.
