Ex-Marvel duo set for Bermuda Triangle movie

Hot from exiting “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”, director Scott Derrickson is set to helm Skydance’s “Bermuda” with MCU staple Chris Evans set to star.

Interestingly enough, as THR points out, Sam Raimi was at one time attached to direct “Bermuda”. He was recently appointed to take over for Derrickson on the “Doctor Strange” sequel, after the latter opted out over script issues.

Centered around the Bermuda Triangle, the film will be penned by Derrickson and his “Doctor Strange” writing partner C. Robert Cargill.

Evans recently retired his take on ‘Captain America’ for Marvel Studios. He next appears in Warner’s remake of “Little Shop of Horrors”.
