We’ve been supplied with an exclusive clip from “The Rumperbutts”, which stars renowned indie band the Mates of State (Kori Gardner and Jason Hammel), Josh Brener (Silicon Valley) Vanessa Ray (”Pretty Little Liars”) and Tony Award Winner, Arian Moayed. The film is now in theaters and VOD.
THE RUMPERBUTTS is about a financially struggling married indie band duo (starring the Mates of State) who regretfully take a job on a children’s show called “The Rumperbutts.” Despite the money and success, their relationship turns to one of resentment. On one extraordinary evening, a magical man (Josh Brenner) leads them on a path of rediscovery and gives them a second chance at happiness. The film was written and directed by Marc Brener and is hisfirst feature, which he began to write just after the success of his short film “Say It Ain’t Solo” (Best of Fest and Best Direction 2012 LA Comedy Festival).
