Exclusive : Eastbound & Down star plays Jumanji next

The very versatile Michael Beasley, best known for his role as Lil Jake in Netflix’s “Bloodline” but also fondly remembered for his wonderful turn as Jimmy Clay on “Eastbound & Down”, has joined the cast of the “Jumanji” threequel over at Sony Pictures.

The actor, son of well-known thesp John Beasley (“Everwood”), joins Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Karen Gillan and Danny DeVito in the Christmas release.

Just as he did in episodes of the WB’s “One Tree Hill” in 2008, Beasley plays a coach here – Coach Davis.

Film wise, Beasley can be seen in such films as “Flight”, “Las Vegas”, “American Reunion” and last year’s “Superfly”.
