‘Opposing Forces’ looks at the character of the films brutal assassin, Xia, played by Hannah Quinlivan.
Quinlivan captivated the casting directors with her audition tape showing her coming out of the hospital having just had a baby, and pulling two guns out ready for action. This seemingly badass individual will shock you with her every day sweet demeanour as you’ll see in the clip above. Despite her title, the question does beg, is she a villainess, or a heroine?
FBI Hostage Rescue Team leader and U.S. war veteran Will Sawyer now assesses security for skyscrapers. On assignment in Hong Kong he finds the tallest, safest building in the world suddenly ablaze, and he’s been framed for it. A wanted man on the run, Will must find those responsible, clear his name and somehow rescue his family who are trapped inside the building…above the fire line.
