Fast & Furious going to space no longer a joke!?

What started as a wacky suggestion may now be a reality.

Next year’s “F9 : The Fast Saga” may take Vin Diesel and co to outer space, if comments by co-star Ludacris are anything to go by.

Appearing on an interview with SiriusXM’s Jess Cagle and Julia Cunningham (via THR), the musician and actor hinted that the idea wasn’t that far off from coming to fruition.

“I will say that you are very intuitive, because you said something right, but I’m not going to give it away.”

Hmmm… end-credits stinger set in space… maybe? Or something more?

The actor also touched on the film’s year-long delay due to Coronavirus.

“That just gives the editors a little more time to perfect it even more. So, now I can only imagine what’s going to happen. Hypothetically, if there is a Fast 10 and 11, and you understand the time the creatives, the people who are writing these scripts right now have to make these the best possible sequels of all time – I can’t even imagine. That is what I am thinking.”

“F9: The Fast Saga” will be released April 2021.
