15 seconds of Pet Semetary will still scare your pants off

It’s only a brief glance at the upcoming remake of “Pet Semetary”, but somehow it’s still enough to deliver some pretty great scares.

Based on the Stephen King novel, “Pet Semetary” will hit theatres April 5th, and is a remake of the 1989 version of the film – which was met with mixed reactions from King fans. But really, every time a book is redone in to a film – there will always be mixed reactions so I expect the same from the upcoming film.

“Pet Semetary” follows Dr. Louis Creed (Jason Clarke), who, after relocating with his wife Rachel (Amy Seimetz) and their two young children from Boston to rural Maine, discovers a mysterious burial ground hidden deep in the woods near the family’s new home. When tragedy strikes, Louis turns to his unusual neighbor, Jud Crandall (John Lithgow), setting off a perilous chain reaction that unleashes an unfathomable evil with horrific consequences.

The movie is directed by Dennis Widmyer and Kevin Kolsch from a screenplay written by Jeff Buhler. Check out the teaser for “Pet Semetary” above.
