Filming on "Red Dwarf" movie gets underway

According to Ananova, the "Red Dwarf" movie will be filming this Summer. Co-creator Doug Naylor told told TV Plus: "Getting the money has caused the long delay but we are almost there. There has been real progress in the past couple of months. It looks very, very good." He adds, "Britain would be our ideal place, if we can afford it, but it is tremendously expensive. We are looking at locations around the world for the film – I think the only place we haven’t considered is Iraq," he said. "We went into pre-production 18 months ago but then the money didn’t materialise." Naylor refused to reveal details of the film, only saying: "It’ll involve a red spaceship."
