The latest from Adam Sandler, “Hubie Halloween” will hit Netflix October 7.
The flick, directed by Sandler-staple Stephen Brill (“Little Nicky”) and written by Tim Herlihy (”The Wedding Singer”), features a swaray of Sandler-regulars like Julie Bowen, Kevin James, Maya Rudolph, Steve Buscemi and Rob Schneider as well as sub-genre newbies like Noah Schnapp (“Stranger Things”), Shaquille O’Neal and Michael Chiklis of “The Shield” fame.
Sandler plays Hubie Dubois, a good-natured but eccentric community volunteer who finds himself at the center of a real murder case on Halloween night. Despite his devotion to his hometown of Salem, Massachusetts (and its legendary Halloween celebration), Hubie is a figure of mockery for kids and adults alike.
While no official photos have been released of Schnapp in the film, here’s one that leaked earlier this year :
