Zach Gilford, the Chicago-bred actor who birthed the memorable Matt Saracen on critical darling “Friday Night Lights” for NBC, will star in the new Netflix series from horror geniuses Mike Flanagan and Trevor Macy.
“Midnight Mass” is said to be a spookster “about an island community that experiences miracles and frightening omens when a mysterious priest arrives.”
In addition to Gilford, who currently appears on cable actioner “L.A’s Finest”, former “X-Files” great Annabeth Gish, Kate Siegel, Hamish Linklater, Rahul Kohli, Henry ‘Flanagan regular’ Thomas, & Michael Trucco (of “Battlestar Galactica”) are also onboard the series.
