Gemini Man could get a sequel, says Bruckheimer

Box office pending, don’t be at all surprised if we read soon that producer Jerry Bruckheimer has started greasing the wheels on a sequel to “Gemini Man”.

Not one to shy away from a workable sequel – his CV features “Beverly Hills Cop II”, numerous “Pirates of the Caribbean” follow-ups and the upcoming “Top Gun : Maverick” and “Bad Boys For Life” – the veteran producer told German site Filmstarts that if the Will Smith movie performs well at the box-office, he’d be interested in doing another.

“If they appear in the cinema, we will hopefully make another film.”

Ahead of any “Gemini Man” sequel, Bruckheimer is said to be delivering new instalments of “National Treasure”, “Pirates of the Caribbean” and “Beverly Hills Cop” – which Eddie Murphy recently confirmed will shoot next year.

“Gemini Man” (read our review here) is in theaters this week.
