Stone Cold fox Amber Heard (“Drive Angry”, “The Rum Diary”) will star opposite Dominic Cooper (so good in “The Devils Double”) in “Motor City”, a Revenge thriller (a film archetype Heard’s not unfamiliar with having starred in last year’s “Drive Angry” with Nicolas Cage) from “Book of Eli” director Albert Hughes. Hughes’ brother and usual co-director Allen Hughes is sitting this one out.
According to Deadline, the Joel Silver produced actioner stars Cooper as a man released from prison who goes on a revenge mission, hunting down the people who framed him.
Chad St. John (“The Further Adventures of Doc Holliday”) wrote the screenplay.
