Benicio Del Toro has been offered a key role in “Star Wars : Episode VIII”.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the “Inherent Vice” actor has been asked to play a bad guy in the follow-up to this year’s “The Force Awakens”.
Del Toro, whose next film is “Sicario” with Emily Blunt, would join Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, John Boyega, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill in the May 26. 2017 release.
This wouldn’t be the actor’s first big science-fiction blockbuster for Disney, he had a cameo role in last year’s “Guardians of the Galaxy”.
