One of the most versatile actors of her generation, Miranda Richardson (“Harry Potter”, “The Evening Star”, “The Crying Game”) has been cast in The upcoming “Game of Thrones” prequel for HBO.
Thesp joins Naomi Watts, Josh Whitehouse, Naomi Ackie, Denise Gough, Jamie Campbell Bower, Sheila Atim, Ivanno Jeremiah, Georgie Henley, Alex Sharp and Toby Regbo in the S.J Clarkson-directed pilot.
The show, which “Kick-Ass” writer Jane Goldman serves as showrunner on, is set thousands of years before the events of “Game of Thrones” and reportedly fixes on how The White Walkers came to be.
Details on Richardson’s character have been kept under wraps.
