Lionsgate has premiered the first poster for their “Hellboy” reboot.
“Stranger Things” alum David Harbour headlines the film, a new celluloid take on the graphic novels by Mike Mignola. Guillermo Del Toro was responsible for the previous two films in the series, of which this film shares no connection – bar a couple of horns.
The poster premieres ahead of the new trailer, which is believed to be hitting on Saturday at New York Comic-Con.
In the film, directed by genre maestro Neil Marshall (“Doomsday”), Hellboy battles an ancient sorceress out for revenge. Ian McShane, Mia Jovovich, Sasha Lane, Penelope Mitchell and Daniel Dae Kim make up the cast.
“Hellboy” is in theaters April 12, 2019.
