The long-awaited “Hocus Pocus” sequel will film in Massachusetts this Summer.
According to the Facebook page of Boston’s Wicked North Shore, “Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy will be filming Hocus Pocus 2 in Salem and other parts of the North Shore.”
Though “Hairspray” helmer Adam Shankman was set to direct the film, TheDisinder says he’s actually left the project and Anne Fletcher (“The Proposal”) now has the reins.
“Hocus Pocus 2” was written by Jen D’Angelo.
