The long-awaited sequel to 1993’s “Hocus Pocus” has a release date – well timeframe – set to hit Disney+ in Fall 2022 (that’s around the second half of the year for those not in the US of A).
“Hocus Pocus 2” will see Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker reprise their roles as the Sanderson Sisters. In the new film, three young women accidentally bring back the witches to the site of modern-day Salem, Massachusetts.
The film is being directed by Anne Fletcher, with production set to begin later this year. Fletcher took over directing duties from Adam Shankman, who exited the project due to scheduling conflicts.
