Okay, so this is sounding better and better.
Hugh Grant, a scene-chewing thesp if ever there were, will play the villain in this “Dungeons & Dragons” pic over at Paramount and eOne.
The actor, bloomin’ brilliant in Guy Ritchie’s “The Gentlemen” a year or so back, and praised for his villainous turn in the second “Paddington” film, will smash swords with star Chris Pine in the flick.
Sophia Lillis of “It” fame has also boarded the film, which Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley directing.
Michelle Rodriguez, Justice Smith and Bridgerton star Rege-Jean Page are also onboard the film.
Maybe I’ll watch this one; couldn’t bring myself to watch that previous film adaptation of the game.
