Liam Hemsworth is said to be top pickings to headline a new horror-comedy described as a cross between “Hot Tub Time Machine” and “Friday the 13th”.
We’ve been informed that the Aussie-born star of “The Hunger Games” has been offered one of the lead roles in “Comedown” director Menhaj Huda’s love letter to classic horror flicks of the ’80s.
The Brad Helmink-John Raushelbach script fixes on Scott, a conceded womanizer, who is transported into a classic horror film. He must overcome his own issues and find a way to survive a relentless killer, who is seeking to avenge his grizzly pass.
Should Hemsworth take the role, it’s likely he’d be the lead.
Production is reportedly set to begin before the end of the year.
