In today’s Spider-Man 3 rumor round-up…

A couple of sorta-credible rumors to pour on your bowl of Fruitios this morning, kids.

According to Fandomwire, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are as good as LOCKED for the next “Spider-Man” film. Sure, it’s rumored that Maguire and Garfield’s incarnations of the web-slinger are rumored to be part of the verse-overlapping sequel (the ‘multiverse’ being the latest trend, ya see…) but this is the first we’ve heard that the ink is dry on their contracts.

If on the moolah, the film will see Maguire and Garfield’s other-worldly Peter Parker’s join Tom Holland’s take to defeat a myriad of villains – including Jamie Foxx’s Electro, who is reprising his role of “Amazing Spider-Man 2” for the new instalment.

Again, first anyone’s heard that this is for sure happening.

In addition to the above, a report from The Direct suggests Marvel and Sony might also have cast an actor to play a live-action Miles Morales. There’s no indication who reportedly snagged the gig – but that’s the message the site passes on.
