Indiana Jones 5 pushed back a year

With the screenplay changing hands, Disney has been forced to manage their expectations when it comes to the new “Indiana Jones” flick.
With production now quite a ways off, the studio has had to push the fifth instalment of the hit series to 2021 – in fact, near a year to the week after its original release date.

The pricey blockbuster, which will again feature Harrison Ford in the role of the ageing archaeologist, will be directed by series staple Steven Spielberg.

As a consolation prize for those saddened by the Indy move, Disney has skedded the new Dwayne Johnson flick “Jungle Cruise” for October 11, 2019.

“Indiana Jones 5” opens July 9, 2021.

Meet the new Joker: Joaquin Phoenix lands the role in the Joker origin flick at Warner Bros.
