Indiana Jones and the mission to save theaters confirmed to film next spring

Harrison Ford during the production of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Nothing new to see here — just verification that it’s apparently still happening.

The long-gestating fifth “Indiana Jones” movie (at one stage rumored to be teaming Chris Pratt with series staple Harrison Ford-  though no word on the “Guardian of the Galaxy” actor’s involvement today) films next spring for a Summer 2022 release, says Disney.

Harrison Ford is back as Indy.

And by god, that Coronaprick better not kill theaters before then – there’s no way I’m watching a damn “Indiana Jones” film on my grubby tablet.

Lucasfilm’s Kathleen Kennedy, speaking at the Disney Investor Day, said “Indiana Jones and the salvaging of a franchise” is scheduled to open July 29, 2022.  James Mangold, of “Logan” and “The Wolverine” fame, directs– so it has a shot of being decent.

Disney announces more Star Wars projects – none, weirdly enough, named Star Wars Overkill

Disney+ just kept your money for another year : Sister Act 3, Hocus Pocus 2, Pinocchio & more coming!
