It started with a glove: Avengers 4 filming commences

They just power through everything in the Marvel universe. Filming has only just wrapped on the “Avengers: Infinity War” film and now the Russo brothers have hinted at the beginning of the “Avengers 4” flick with a Facebook post:

“Avengers 4” will star Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scalett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olson, Chadwick Boseman, Sebastian Stan, Don Cheadle, Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Pom Klementieff, Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Sean Gunn, Tom Holland, Josh Brolin, and Paul Rudd. Brothers Anthony and Joe Russo directed “Avengers: Infinity War” and return for “Avengers 4”, both being filmed in Atlanta.

At this stage the film is yet untitled, but will hit cinemas a year after “Infinity War”. It’s been noted previously that the cast of “Avengers 4” isn’t necessarily confirmed, out of fear that it will give away the ending to “Infinity War”, where not every character will necessarily make it out alive after the battle with the Mad Titan.

So at this stage, the timeline of upcoming Marvel movies sits at: “Avengers: Infinity War” will finally hit theatres on May 4th, 2018 with “Avengers 4” coming to theaters one year later on May 3rd, 2019, followed by the sequel to “Spider-Man: Homecoming”, which is set to premiere on July 5th, 2019.
