It’s Hollywood’s worst kept secret, but Jake Gyllenhaal has confirmed his involvement in the upcoming “Spider-Man: Far From Home” flick – the follow-up to “Homecoming”. The actor will play villain Mysterio.
In an Instagram video, Gyllenhaal shows himself reading “The Amazing Spider-Man #311”, which features Mysterio. He captions the photo “I just realised I’m not playing Spider-Man”. So jocular! “Far From Home” will see Tom Holland back in the lead role, and drops in theatres July 5, 2019.
