Following on from the news that Michael Bay is going to remake 2005’s “Ambulance”, THR note that Jake Gyllenhaal is in talks to join the movie.
“Ambulance” tells of two brothers that steal an ambulance that is already in a heightened state with a female paramedic and a patient who is in critical condition. Gyllenhaal would play the older brother. Sources say that Dylan O’Brien is circling the part of the younger brother and that Eiza Gonzalez is circling the role of the paramedic. However, no deals have yet been made.
Chris Fedak has written the script, and Bay has his eye on an LA shoot.
