James Gunn’s “Suicide Squad” has had its full cast confirmed by the man himself on Twitter. While most of the cast was known, a few new faces have been announced.

Returning to the franchise are Margot Robbie, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney and Joel Kinnaman.
New faces include Idris Elba, John Cena, Michael Rooker, Peter Capaldi, Nathan Fillion, Taika Waititi, David Dastmalchian, Sean Gunn, Pete Davidson, Daniela Melchior, Storm Reid, Flula Borg and Steve Agee.
The newest announced are Joaquin Cosío, Maylin Ng, Juan Deigo Botto, Alice Brage, Tinashe Kajese, Julio Ruiz and Jennifer Holland.
“Suicide Squad” will be written and directed by Gunn, and is set to begin production shortly for a release of August 6th, 2021.
