Jason Momoa’s 3 requests for Aquaman sequel

If an “Aquaman” sequel gets the go-ahead (and it likely will, what with all the coin the film has already made), Jason Momoa wants a couple of Justice League-ers to join him in it.

Speaking to Collider, the actor says he would pick Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) or The Flash (Ezra Miller) to buddy-up with in the next one. In a separate interview, the actor said he’d also like to see ‘Aquababy’ get in on the action. “There’s so many possibilities,” Momoa tells MTV.

But as Momoa adds, it’s a question of what (or who) the audience wants to see in the sequel.

While WB chairman Toby Emmerich has already started meeting writers on the job of penning “Aquaman 2”, there’s no word on who might direct the next. As Cinema Blend recently confirmed, James Wan’s contract was only for one film. Same deal Patty Jenkins had with “Wonder Woman” – one and she was out, unless they promised her a hefty pay-rise to direct a sequel (which they did). I’m sure Wan knows the game.

“Aquaman” is showing around the globe this month.
