Jena Malone and Douglas Smith will star in indie horror “Bottom of the World”.
The “Hunger Games” and “Terminator: Genisys” actors will act under the direction of Richard Sears who will helm from a script by Brian Gottlieb.
The film centres on young couple Scarlett (Malone) and Alex (Smith) who stop at a desert motel on their way to LA. But when Scarlett vanishes, Alex enters a nightmarish world where he realizes that he must be in a dream. The twist? He is not the dreamer.
Ted Levine is also attached to play a sinister preacher who taunts Alex at every turn.
Production will get underway at the beginning of September in Ottawa.
