Joel Silver bringing I Hunt Killers to TV

Action-movie maestro Joel Silver (“Kiss Kiss Bang Bang”, “Lethal Weapon”) has joined forces with ABC Family to bring the young adult novel series “I Hunt Killers” to the screen.

Deadline says the project, from Silver Pictures and Warner Horizon, ”centers on the teenage son of an imprisoned notorious serial killer, a likable boy who becomes a suspect after a string of copy-cat murders.” It’s said to be akin to a teenage version of “Dexter”.

Arika Mittman, who conveniently worked on “Dexter”, is writing the series.
