John Amos joins third Bad Ass

John Amos (“Coming to America”) will join Danny Trejo and Danny Glover for the third in the “Bad Ass” movie series.

Due in theaters and on VOD March 6, 2015, “Bad Asses on the Bayou” reunites the dynamic duo of Frank Vega (Danny Trejo) and Bernie Pope (Danny Glover) as they travel to Louisiana to attend the wedding of their dear friend Carmen Gutierrez (Loni Love). What was pictured as a wedding weekend escape to the south turns violently ugly as madness and mayhem ensue, pressing our senior heroes to once again serve justice.

Amos plays Earl Morgan, father of bride-to-be and Carol Sutton as her mother, Lois Morgan. Jimmy Bennett, Sammi Rotibi and Davi Jay also co-star.

“We are excited to bring this very funny, high-speed film to audiences around the country,” says Meyer Gottlieb, President of Samuel Goldwyn Films.” The film’s third installment again reunites remarkable actors with great on-screen chemistry and really delivers the laughs and action.”

“Not only do the Danny’s have incredible chemistry but they’re hilarious and we look forward to sharing the film with audiences worldwide,” adds Moss. “I am sure our fans will find the film as exciting as our first two and I am especially excited that ‘Bad Asses on the Bayou’ will debut simultaneously in theatres as well as video-on-demand.” The deal was negotiated by Ian Puente, Vice President and General Counsel of Samuel Goldwyn Films and by Ben Feingold on behalf of the filmmakers.
