Johnson, Diesel make amends? Fast reunion looming!?

Despite easily being the weakest of the “Fast & Furious” universe, “Hobbs & Shaw” (more like “Hobbles Along & Bores”) has chalked up a mortgage-pleasing three-quarters of a billion bucks at the box office. It’s likely therefore that we’ll be seeing stars Dwayne Johnson and Jason Strahan reuniting for another round of green screen antics in the near future.
It’s also possible – despite their widely publicised feud – that Johnson may have patched things up with “Fast & Furious” star Vin Diesel, suggesting a Hobbs & Toretto reunion could be on the cards too.

In a video post, the “Jumani” star thanked punters for shelling out for “Hobbs & Shaw” before offering his hand to Diesel.

“Lastly, but not least, I want to thank brother Vin for your support of Hobbs & Shaw. I saw your post and I appreciate it. … As you know, and what a wild ride this is and what a wild ride this has been, 10 years ago when you and I spoke, you invited me into the Fast and Furious family. I’m grateful for that invite. And as you know, my goal was always, all these years, to come into the Fast & Furious world and help elevate the franchise in any way that I possibly could. And of course, all roads lead to one thing. I’ll be seeing you soon, Toretto.”

Johnson joined the “Fast” family for “Fast Five” and has since appeared in each subsequent sequel. At this stage, he is not expected to appear in next year’s ninth instalment.
