The casting hunt continues on “Suicide Squad”, particularly in relation to the highly-coveted Rick Flagg role.
In addition to those other rumoured candidates, “Star Trek” alum Karl Urban is now rumoured to be in the running to play the leader of the baddies-for-hire pack.
JoBlo, who have the Urban scoop, say casting is also underway for the role of Rick’s father. Max Martini (“Pacific Rim”) and Ed Harris (“Westworld”) are in the running, they say.
One commenter on the Moviehole twitter suggested Tom Cruise should play Rick Flagg. I do like that idea. A lot. But let’s remember, Cruise doesn’t usually do anything other than.. .Tom Cruise movies.
