Jesse Plemons has nabbed a role in Disney’s “Jungle Cruise”, opposite big names Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt, Jack Whitehall and recently announced Edgar Ramirez.
Jaume Collet-Serra is directing the film, which is based on the ride of the same name. It’s set in the early 20th century in the Amazon jungle. Disney is hoping to develop the film into franchise.
The film is set to begin production in May. Michael Green wrote the latest draft of the script, and the production has Beau Flynn, John Davis and John Fox on board as producers.
Plemons recently starred in “Game Night” with Jason Bateman.
