Justice League poster has Superman front and centre

Despite him being largely absent from marketing material thus far, Superman (sans moustache) will be in the “Justice League” movie, and a new poster revealed has him in the centre of all the action. The print comes from FilmCells, and is an official poster featuring the super-team (Batman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg and The Flash), and Henry Cavill’s Superman in the limelight:

The film is only months away, but is still involved in extensive reshoots under the guidance of new director Joss Whedon, who took over from Zack Snyder recently.

As for how large of a role Superman has in the upcoming film, it’s still largely unknown how big of a part he will play. “Justice League” sees a world that is still dealing with Superman’s death following the events of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Bruce Wayne reevaluates his extreme methods and begins reaching out to other heroes to assemble a team of crime-fighters to defend Earth from all kinds of threats. Together with Wonder Woman, Batman seeks out Victor Stone aka Cyborg, Barry Allen aka The Flash and the Atlantean warrior king known as Aquaman, aka Arthur Curry. They face off against Steppenwolf, who just so happens to be the second-in-command to alien warlord Darkseid, who has been tasked with finding several artifacts that are hidden on Earth (thanks to MovieWeb for description).

The film flies into cinemas November 17, and no doubt we’ll see another trailer prior to then. Check out the latest marketing posters below.
