An award night’s worth of names are joining Ridley Scott’s next.
The “Alien” and “Gladiator” helmer has courted Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Jared Leto, Jack Huston, and Reeve Carney to star in MGM’s “Gucci”. The film will star ch Lady Gaga as Patrizia Reggiani, the ex-wife of Maurizio Gucci who was tried and convicted of orchestrating her his assassination on the steps of his office in 1995. She served 18 years in jail before being let out in 2016.
MGM landed the rights to the hot package in April with plans to go before the cameras after Scott has finished shooting his latest film “The Last Duel”.
