Lisbeth Salander can’t stop Don’t Breathe 2

He may have found himself abruptly busy with another sequel, which might keep him busy for the better part of the year, but “Don’t Breathe” director Fede Alvarez has confirmed he’ll still do a sequel to his 2016 horror hit.

Little has been heard since last last year on a sequel to the film, which scooped up a hot $150 million worldwide from a $10 million dollar budget, but Alvarez took to Twitter to reassure fans it’s still on his to-do list.

In November, Alvarez said the follow-up would focus largely on Stephen Lang’s character.

“It’s exciting to see a character you want to see more out of it. At least I do. I’d love to see the blind man on the screen do some other things. What’s going to happen with him in his life?”
