Gugu Mbatha-Raw, fresh off Apple’s “The Morning Show”, is headed straight into another streaming series.
The British thesp is joining fellow countryman Tom Hiddelston for TV’s “Loki” over at Disney+.
As with any Marvel project, character details are under lock and key for “Loki” at the moment. Deadline, who have the scoop, believes the “Motherless Brooklyn” actress has the lead female role.
The series, also staring Owen Wilson and Sophia Di Martino, is currently filming in Atlanta.
