Filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie announced over the weekend that original IMF boss Eugene Kittridge will be back for next year’s “Mission : Impossible 7” – and likely, “Mission : Impossible 8”.

McQuarrie, back behind the camera for the latest instalments, tweeted a picture of actor Henry Czerny and the caption “There is no escaping the past… #MI7MI*”

The “Clear and Present Danger” and “Ready or Not” actor” hasn’t been seen on referenced in an “M:I” film since Brian De Palma’s 1996 original.
