Andy Serkis (“Mowgli”) met with Sony this week to discuss taking the reigns on superhero sequel “Venom 2”.
The hat-juggling thesp, who is known for his critically acclaimed and beloved work in the motion capture space as well as for acting turns in such films as
“Suddenly 30”, “Black Panther” and “The Long Shot”, is reportedly just one of several filmmakers in contention.
Sony wants the project, starring Tom Hardy, before cameras in November.
