Love My Way co-stars reunite for Avatar sequels

Brendan Cowell will reunite with his “Love My Way” co-star Sam Worthington on James Cameron’s “Avatar” sequels.

The 42-year-old Australian actor, also known for his roles in the films “Beneath Hill 60”, “I Love You Too” and “Noise”, will play Mick Scorseby, a captain on a marine hunting vessel, in the big-budget franchise.

The role of Scorseby, who captains a private-sector marine hunting vessel on the planet of Pandora, comes hot on the heels of Cowell’s acclaimed turn on HBO’s “Game of Thrones”, in which he played Harrag.

“Jim and I are thrilled to welcome Brendan to the ‘Avatar’ family and know that he will bring a great depth to the character of Mick Scoresby,” producer Jon Landau said in a statement.

The four “Avatar” sequels – the first of which lands December 18, 2020 – reunite Cowell with his former small-screen co-star Sam Worthington, who plays the lead role of Jake Sully.
