Lucasfilm delays latest Star Wars film

Patty Jenkins has another “Wonder Woman” film, among other commitments, preventing her involvement at this stage

Due to director Patty Jenkins’ busy schedule, Lucasfilm has decided to delay production on the “Star Wars” film “Rogue Squadron” until the filmmaker’s commitments to Warner’s “Wonder Woman 3” and Paramount’s “Cleopatra” are completed.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jenkins would’ve had to have started production on the big-budget tentpole next year in order to make its December 22, 2023 release date.

With Jenkins calendar full, the brass have opted to pull “Rogue Squadron” from the schedule and will pick it up again later when the filmmaker has time to travel to a galaxy so far, far away.

This is a Call! Foo Fighers to star in their own horror movie!
