Magda Szubanski ("Babe") let slip a few details about the film she’s writing called "The Next Big Thing". "It’s another take on the Pygmalion story, only this time centering on a fashion designer. It’s about a fashion designer who thinks he can take the most poreposterous looking thing and turn her into ‘the next big thing’, so that’s my character. So all of a sudden it’s cool to be "fat". Pure and simple it’s "Revenge of the Nerds"! Szubanki said she enjoyed writing the film. "I loved it. I found, much to my surprise, that I loved doing re-writes. I thought I’d be one of those people who said ‘nope, not going to do it again’"
