Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone team up for Super-Intelligence

Husband-wife duo Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone are set to team up again for comedy-action flick “Super-Intelligence”. McCarthy will star, with Falcone aboard to write and direct the film.

This will mark their fourth time working together on an acting-directing basis, following “Tammy”, “The Boss” and upcoming “Life of the Party”.

According to the THR report, McCarthy will play Carol Peters, a former corporate executive whose earnest yet unfulfilled life is turned upside down when she is selected for observation by the world’s first super-intelligence — an artificial intelligence that may or may not take over the world.

The movie, written by Steve Mallory, who also penned McCarthy and Falcone’s “The Boss”, is scheduled to begin production in July.
