Netflix have announced that former “Gilmore Girls” and “Mike & Molly” star Melissa McCarthy will star in a new comedy series alongside husband Ben Falcone.
“God’s Favorite Idiot” marks McCarthy’s return to the small screen after a successful tenure in film- starring in such films as “Ghostbusters”, “The Boss”, “Bridesmaids” and “The Heat”.
Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone will star in God’s Favorite Idiot, a comedy series about a mid level tech support employee who finds love at exactly the same time he becomes the unwitting messenger of God.
